The GoldDigger:

The JS Performance GoldDigger is a 1988 Camaro IROC, a factory GM bodied, small tire, street legal racecar. Currently, GoldDigger is powered by a 360ci small block Chevrolet engine ingesting a healthy dose of nitrous oxide producing over 1,100 horsepower. Power is transferred through a TH400 transmission featuring a Precision Industries converter and Hipsters trans brake. Out back, Gold Digger boasts a custom-built 9” rearend equipped with M/T 28”x 10.5”x 15” slicks.  Traction is secured by a Chassis Engineering ladder bar-style rear suspension with Strange shocks, while the front features a stock style suspension upgraded with a tubular K member, control arms, and chassis bracing by UMI Performance, complemented by Strange struts for precise travel control.

The Origin Of JSP:

The JS in JS Performance is from an experienced, talented, high standard technician and racer, Josh Solimine.  The JS Performance story started for Josh at a young age, even then he was captivated by all things mechanical, inspired by watching his father, Joe, work on his 18-Wheeler. This early fascination grew into a lifelong passion for speed, encompassing everything from BMX bikes to ATVs and eventually, cars & trucks.

After high school, Josh pursued his automotive interests at Pennco Tech, where he earned a degree in Automotive Technology and achieved an ASE Master Technician Certification. Throughout his life, Josh’s passion for speed remained unwavering. He could often be found at local racetracks, refining his skills in one of his self-built hotrods.

In 2007, Josh’s enduring dedication culminated in the creation of JS Performance. His commitment to providing the highest quality parts and workmanship has made a significant impact on the performance and racing industry.
